We're going to make a forecast webpage.  It will display weather information for a city of your choice.  Here are some links to resources that you'll need for completing our project. Remember, be creative!

HTML!

Because it's a website...

  1. Make a file called index.html and put this inside.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="UTF-8" />
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="ie=edge" />
    <title>Weather Forecast</title>
  </head>
  <body>
      <!-- We'll put our code here -->
  </body>
</html>

Weather API Documentation

We'll use this to get our weather forecast

Weather API Documentation

jQuery Javascript library

This will give us to tools to make requests to the API and then update the webpage with that information.

Include the script below into your index.html between the head tags.

<script
  src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.4.1.min.js"
  integrity="sha256-CSXorXvZcTkaix6Yvo6HppcZGetbYMGWSFlBw8HfCJo="
  crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

Here's some links to useful documentation.

Weather Icons

We'll use these in our design :)

Final Product?

The completed code will be posted to my github page on Nov. 3rd.
